The buttons were fired one time at 1230c degrees.
Can you wash the buttons in a washing machine? We would always go for handwash to provide extra care. However smaller buttons can also be washed in a machine, provided you chose wool or handwash program and the garment is turned inside out and put in a laundry bag. The buttons are not afraid of water or temperature, its all about continuous strokes against the washing machine drum when spinning. For buttons 23mm and bigger we strongly recommend handwash.
Please be aware that all our buttons are 100% handmade so there may be imperfections in size and shape but we always pay extra attention to make sure that they match each other within one set.
